Knitcircus is a multimedia site bringing you fun knitting tutorials, reviews and opinions through the newsletter, podcast, blog, YouTube channel and events!
Knitcircus News free newsletter news brings you fresh articles each week from all corners of knitting’s big tent.

How do I advertise in Knitcircus?
Glad you asked! We have several ways to share your business’ awesomeness with our readers/listeners:
Newsletter Ads
Prominent placement in the weekly newsletter, which currently reaches more than 7,000 knitters. These are 500 pixels square.
Price: $45 per issue; $35/issue if you book four; $100 for eight. Published every Tuesday except the week of December 25th. Free podcast sponsorship with purchase of eight newsletter ads.
Website Ads
A vertical banner on the main page. Main page currently receives over 40,000 views/month.
From the first to last day of the calendar month; $55 per month. Specs: 140 px wide by 200 px high.
Podcast Sponsorships
Graphics on the Podcast blog and a 30-second spot on the Knitcircus Podcast; you write it, we say it, over two thousand knitters hear it! $15 per podcast. Schedule: podcasts go live the second and fourth Thursdays of the month. Graphics are 150 pix tall by 600 wide at 72 dpi. Up to four sponsors per podcast.
Blog
The Knitcircus blog is a great place to showcase and give away your products, to build excitement! We’re always happy to hold a contest and send people your way. Artwork: 90px wide by 200px tall. Price: $10/month.

Can I submit a design?
Thanks, but Knitcircus isn’t currently seeking patterns for publication.
Can I submit an article for Knitcircus?
Knitcircus News welcomes article submissions; topics may include: highlighting a particular technique or design aspect (fitting a pattern to large bust, freeform knitting), a knitting trend or new technology (podcasts, hot socks, knitting in Iceland), interviews with designers/authors or well-written personal essays. Compensation varies according to article complexity.
Will you review my yarns, books, sewing patterns or other Crafty Thing?
Please contact Jaala if you’d like to send something for review. We only review things we genuinely like. If you’re a small independent dyer, an independent sewing-pattern creator, or an expert in knitting who is self-publishing, we’re very interested; if you’re an established yarn seller or publisher, of course we’re interested in your new or innovative offerings. We also place reviews in the twice-monthly Podcast and the Knitcircus Blog.
Why did you stop publishing the magazine?
Knitcircus just got squeezed out by the economy. Simple, but sad. Luckily, we’re able to be flexible and continue to bring you great content through the free weekly e-newsletters.
